The spirit of Gallery House has been captured in a series of artworks commissioned exclusively for the project. Berlin based Australian artist Sam Chirnside is amongst a new wave of emerging artists blurring the lines between physical and digital practice.
Gallery House One
“Each artwork explores different natural elements, from the fluidity of water flow, to the changes of land mass over time. The art series for Gallery House One was inspired by topographical aerial views of land formations that have been altered by natural elements.”
Gallery House Two
“The blue hues throughout the River and City Collection’s are to give a sense of tranquility and calmness that the city and it’s aquatic environment entail. The Sky Collection piece captures the warmth, love and creativity that this city radiates. All tying into the deeper intuitive of our senses, I hope to bring the viewer into a better understanding and awareness of these subtle yet meaningful energies that we experience.”
“My art is an exploration of order & incomprehension. Searching for further meaning through techniques of abstraction and experimentation.”
